After several months and competing against 1000s of contestants, the Srinagar lad Qazi and Rooprekha/Ruprekha was crowned as the winners for Fame Gurukul. Better to call them in the voice of Sony Entertainment channel, "Fame Jodi". The result ends one of the most awaited outcomes of talent hunt in the popular reality show Fame Gurukul.

All the 3 contestants seemed quite nervous. Of course Rex brought some light moments in Between. Rex took the defeat very sportingly. Mandira Bedi dragged the suspense too much over announcing the name of Fame Jodi. Qazi looked very composed but gave a broke into smile once his name was announced.

87,12,510 votes i.e SMS were polled.

Qazi Tauqeer is from a small town and he believed in his hard work through out the episode and was of course the chaheta of people across the country. Qazi always wanted to be an actor. Once he danced before former chief minister of Kashmir Farooq Abdullah and and according to him Qazi Tauqeer looked better than Hrithik Roshan :). Qazi never practiced though one of his uncle is a singer. In spite of not being a trained singer people poured their love on him and gave him all the chance to realise his blind spots as a singer. About personal life of Qazi, his mother Rukhsana is a schoolteacher, his father Mushtaq Ahmed; an advocate was legal advisor at the local United Nations office in Srinagar.

Ruprekha is also small town native from West Bengal. She is pursuing her degree in BSc and always wanted to be a playback singer. She has also sung for a Bengali movie. She likes singing romantic songsDate of this item added : 2005-10-20
